If I learned one thing in the year 2020, as crazy as it was…
I feel like the main thing I learned was that we all have to be able to adapt better. We have to do everything we can possibly do to be as healthy as we possibly can be so that we can handle whatever life throws at us.
And the one thing that determines how healthy we are is are is our adaptability – how well we adapt to stressed that we encounter on a day to day basis.
That’s THE main thing. The better you adapt, the healthier you are and, ultimately, the longer you live.
We are encountering stresses, all day long…
Emotional stresses. Physical stresses. Chemical stresses.
Our body has to adapt to all of them and the better we can adapt to these stresses the better we are as human beings. There are a lot of things we can do that can help us adapt better. And there are a lot of things we do that make us adapt worse.
Some of the things that help us adapt better: exercise, chiropractic, positive thinking, meditation, drinking plenty of water, eating lots of healthy organic food, getting proper rest.
I’m sure if you thought about it, you’d come up with a list of things that hurt your body’s ability to adapt: excessive stress, negative thoughts, poor food choices, junk food, toxic relationships, toxic people.
So in 2021 we don’t have a choice…we HAVE to adapt better. We cannot wait for someone or something from the outside to bail us out when it comes to our health.
Health comes from the inside out, healing comes from the inside out.
And, the better you can feed and nurture the body through all the things that I just went over the better off you will be. It’s that simple.
So, I want you to take a long hard look at what are the things you’re doing in your life. Are they helping your adaptation or are they hurting your adaptation?
In this day and age, we have an ever mutating virus that’s probably never gonna go away, and that we’re going to have to learn to adapt to. We have to get stronger get healthier and improve our resiliency and improve our ability to adapt.
Now as a chiropractor I think one of the best things you can do – and it’s an essential thing you cannot afford not to do it, is get regular chiropractic adjustments. It is one of the things that helps your body adapt.
It helps your body process the good food you’re eating.
It helps your body, get the most benefit from the sleep you’re getting.
It helps everything work better in your body.
So if you’re not getting chiropractic care you’re not as healthy as you can be, no matter how good you do everything else.
So 2021 is the year of adaptability. And the healthiest people, the ones that have the least to fear and the least to worry about are the people that make the choices and make the decisions to adapt better.
It’s just that simple.
