My Dad

“You know, it’s interesting. I think a lot about my dad. He was a Detroit police officer back in the sixties and seventies. The most profound influence in my life without question. And I think about how he treated other people. Whether you were a stranger, or whether you were a longtime friend, he treated every single person as if they were the most important person

in the world at that moment. And he didn’t do it necessarily in a fake way like he was trying to get something, he genuinely just loved being around other people and he genuinely loved interacting with people. That’s what made him such a phenomenal person. And every person you talk to this day, if they knew him before he passed away, they would rave about just the quality of character that he was.

And I strive to do that myself. Sometimes I fail. But I strive to be the man that he was or close to it. I try to treat everyone as if they’re the most important person in the world. And I try and do it not because I want to get something, but because that’s just how people deserve to be treated.

I believe that we all deserve to be treated with the utmost respect and love. I’m Doctor Mike Geran from Foothills Chiropractic.
